Why not feed the hummingbirds at my hummingbird feeder?
I live in Southern California and bought the charger from Home Depot. Lots of hummers are around, but I do not see food?
Use one part sugar to 3 parts water to your feed. Something with a strong mix sugar can kill them. Do not use honey, never. It is deadly. Your feed should NOT be red, but most of the departures were a red flower and it all that is necessary. Mine would not come to feed red, just the red flower. Be patient. You may have to wait for the babies are flying. They are not set in their ways so can try yours when others are too crowded and busy. They are generally of the same year after year feeders.
